OKC says Russell Westbrook had surgery today to address a right hand fracture in Cleveland. No timetable. He will be re-evaluated in 4 weeks

If OKC's bench players and young talent can develop and fill in the gaps productively, this would be a big boost for them.
When Durant and Westbrook return, they would then have a stronger and tested core of bench players whom they could theoretically rely upon more. Guys like Jeremy Lamb, Reggie Jackson (when they return), Perry Jones, and Steven Adams have a chance to fill in the void left by their two super stars. Similarly to how the Raptors have relied upon the growth of its players, OKC can do the same on-the-fly and hope for a potentially deep playoff run.
Until then, they will have to fight hard just to remain within playoff contention in the Wild, Wild Western Conference.I know this may be a bit controversial but I think the Raptors have proven that they're the best team in the NBA from Canada
