Not really a 3 teamer either. 2 separate deals.

Love Gibson. Basically a healthy Amir. That's why Chicago is not shopping him.

Hate Chandler. Inefficient shooter who's like Vasquez defensively - he can guard multiple positions, if you're OK with shitty defence.
If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.

I was wondering about his D. He has the size to at least prevent a guy like Joe Johnson from posting up over and over again. But face up, I don't know, maybe he would get blown by over and over. And maybe his 3pt shot isn't good enough to really space the floor, so ultimately, he may not be a much better option than James Johnson.

Iggy would be a better option, but I don't like the length of his contract. And if Lou were used to acquire Taj, I'm not sure we'd have the assets to get Iggy anyways.

Chicago is shopping him or will. They have too many PF to spend 9M for TH. Butlers new contract and position that need filling makes Gibson expendable.

I meant role and minutes. Pau and Noah finish games and play more than 30 minutes when healthy.

They've played only 33 of 48 games together. And they're probably not going to be healthier next year.

Whether he can play or not Pau is signed for three years. They didn't sign him to come off the bench year 2. Either way they are paying 21M for Pau Gibson and Mirotic

Hansborough + Ross + Bebe for Taj Gibson

Fields + Steemer +2016 1st round pick for Chandler

Acquiring Taj Gibson would probably mean getting rid of a draft pick. I really like Taj and think he'd be a good fit. Don't really care at all for Wilson Chandler. Would definitely not give up a first round pick for him.

Can't see Bulls trading Gibson within Conference unless it's an overpay. They would take less to send him West.

I have no issue with moving a pick. I do want to keep the NYK/DEN pick. But you have to consider that the team is winning and is likely to do so for the foreseeable future. Meanwhile, Bruno, Bebe and Daniels will be waiting for their chance to get on the court, and that's not happening soon. There is little reason to keep all our picks, we aren't in a situation to horde young players, as they will never develop without playing time, something they will get little of here.

Nonetheless, a first rounder, even a late one, might not be the best use of the asset if it's flipped for a guy like Chandler, so I agree with you there. I also don't think Masai is gonna make any moves until the offseason anyways. See what this crew can do, and address in inefficiencies in the offseason.
