Raps, Pacers, Jazz
Raptors trade Demar DeRozan, Ed Davis, Jose Calderon, Linas Kleiza 2015 1st round pick
Raps get Danny Granger, Leandro Barbosa (signed) Earl Watsons, DeMarr Caroll,
Pacers trade Danny Granger, Leandro Barbosa, George Hill, 2013 2nd round pick
Pacers get DeMar DeRozan, Ed Davis, 2015 (1st round pick from TOR), Devin Harris
Jazz trade Earl Watsons, DeMarr Caroll, Devin Harris
Jazz get Jose Calderon, Linas Kleiza, George Hill, Jazz 2nd round pick
Can't say I'm a fan of the trade from a Raptors perspective, or a Paces perspective. More of a neutral move with the removal of potential. But for the Pacers, you have them giving up Hill and Granger? Those are two important components of a team that they expect to compete this year.
But realistically this can't even get off the ground. Toronto cannot legally trade any upcoming first round pick based on the protection they placed on the Lowry trade. They have already committed their next available first round pick to Houston (outside of our top protection). For example, if Toronto makes the playoffs the in 2013 and 2014 the pick would belong to Houston. It therefore can't be traded to any other team as it's rights may be owned.
The amount of stupidity in this trade is ridiculous. Devin Harris in on the Atlanta Hawks -.-
Lmao these are the types of trades that shouldn't be allowed to be posted.
In future, can you at least run your trade idea through ESPN's Trade Machine. If you're including players that aren't on the team's roster (ie: Devin Harris has already been traded) and/or the salaries don't work under the CBA, there's really no point posting the trade.
