Iggy to GSW, 4 year @ 48 million = Dwight to Houston or L.A.
Is Utah tanking? They just took on Biedrins and Jefferson's salaries to help GSW nab Iggy. They must be getting picks as well.

        Apparently multiple including 2014 first.

Basically. Woj says this eliminates the Warriors from the Dwight race.

That 2014 first will be really low.. like 22-26 range. They probably have to renounce Millsap to take those two salaries on. They must be in tank mode.

Do warriors still have space for Dwight?

Only in a S&T, and would have to send LA about $17M in salary. That's Bogut (or Lee), Barnes (or Thompson) and someone else probably.

From what I've heard, GSW has moved on from Howard. Houston looks like the favourite now.

I just wish the big drama queen would get it over with. Dwightmare 2.0 is over extended already!! Watch, he craves attention so much, he"ll realize he"s a fool to leave LA, and stay there.

Imagine if they could land Howard.

Starting lineup of Curry, Thompson, Barnes, Iggy and Dwight.

                    Oh well, pipedreams.

Not really. He isn't gonna win a championship in LA anytime soon which Dwight wants. Kobe is injured and probably won't play at 100% until the 2014-2015 season. He also said that he was gonna retire in 3-4 years. Nash is gonna be retired by the 2014-2015 season if not the 2015-2016 season. Pau is on the decline by the 2014-2015 season. The fact that D'Antoni is still the HC means that they definitely aren't gonna play any defense any time soon. LAL is a wreck right now. The only incentive for him to say is apparently the idea that he will eventually take reign over LAL when Kobe retires which is in 3-4 years. If Kobe retires, the team will tank since Nash would have retired by then and Pau would be old. If LAL tanks and Dwight stays, that is no better than his situation with the Magic. The Lakers are not gonna win the championships in the next 3-4 years with uprise of superteams (Miami, Brooklyn, GS) along with other good teams better than LAL (SA, OKC, Chicago, etc). If his goal is to win championships, Dwight WILL NOT get on as a Laker. The fact that LAL still hasn't fired D'Antoni means that they never had any intention to keep Dwight! He might not get as much attention in Houston, GS or Dallas, but if he ends up winning a championship with whatever team he chooses to sign, he will get the attention...

Hey, I"m not saying there"s not better options for him, as winning rings chances go, but saying it still would not surprise me if the drama queen still ends in LA, where he"ll get the most play for his act.

I never understood the whole idea of him loving attention or drama queen. He allegedly tried to get SVG fired. That's could be anything. He could have said that he doesn't agree with that SVG was doing and wants change. The thing is that the media will skew anything to get a headline. Dwight is only a drama queen because the media makes him look like one. That's the whole point of the media; to stir up as much drama as possible to get more views and attention. If anything, LeBron was a much bigger drama queen and lover of attention. He actually had to make his own damn TV segment to release his decision on where he was gonna go in FA. Howard didn't really do any of that. Dwight doesn't give two shits about attention. He cares about winning a championship NOW. If he was, he would have already announced that he would stay in LA where he would have multiple billboards and his own TV show. Also, the fact that he went on a resort to overthink his decision further proves that he doesn't want attention. If he really did care about the FA attention, he would stay in the limelight (instead of away from it) and absorb it with his ego as much as possible, but he's not. You have to realize that the media is making him look like a drama queen than he really is.

I never really thought they had a chance at Dwight Howard. They didn't have anything that would propell them into a championship.

Yeah I didn't at all either. Knowing Cuban now they'll set their sights on next year's crop of FA's.

I wonder if they'd have any interest in Gay.
