If Heat pick him up there will be a very weird moral for this story..

    1) Get caught smoking weed enough times to get waived
    2) Sign with Heat
    3) Win Championship
    4) ?????
    5) Profit!
That would be one more reason to legalize it, weed smokers are champions PS nice south park reference

Pat Riley has gambled on players before, notably Chris Anderson and Eddie Curry. Beasley will be getting in shape for camp in 3 weeks.

If Beasley gets in shape and Oden performs at a mediocre level, the Heat are locks for a three-peat.

There is a lot of talent on that team.

At 100%, if clicking and healthy, the heat are unbeatable, but Wade hasn't been healthy in a long time, Bosh was banged up quite a bit, there are a lot of elder statesmen, Beasley is a nutcase and Oden is made of glass, but at their best it's not even fair

Beasley's contract is not guaranteed, so it's essentially a camp tryout with 17 invitees and 13 guaranteed contracts for the Heat. If Beasley sticks for the whole season it will cost the Heat about 2.5 million in luxury tax.
