Drummond had a fracture in his back last year as well. Likely nothing to be concerned about...... other than such a giant frame carrying so much weight from a young age and the wear and tear factor.

I am wondering if Embiid had the fracture when he originally hurt his back against TCU and if so, why did Kansas not get the proper diagnosis. They rested him for just 2 games. Embiid should be not playing any more this season. There is too much at stake, financially.

I like Payne (even mentioned him on page 1 of this thread) but drafting him only makes sense if the Raps move another big. Otherwise, he isn't likely to get enough minutes behind JV, Amir, PP and Hansbrough.
