He actually played pretty well during that stretch, or at least I thought so. Cuse's lack of depth is what's hurting them. I'm surprised he dropped.
His play took a drop off in my opinion. Certainly not significant and certainly not enough to warrant 6 spots.

The point of my "IT HAS BEGUN" was the nonsense and flavour of the weeks that will start popping up with Chad Ford, DraftExpress, NBADraft.net, etc.

except at the draft, which is all homework, politics and chance.

The entire team took at least a 20% decrease in fg%...can't really blame one guy or another, they all just went ice cold at the same time

This actually sounds like a plausible scenario.

How desperate are the Cavs to make Kyrie happy?

Toronto's guys are known as good locker room presences too, may be just what they need.
A big part of my thinking is the raps already have a DeRozan replacement at SG.

          • Quick read on "big name" college guys who haven't met expectations. Could be some sweet second round gems for the Raps to grab.

With a back specialist confirming a fracture in his back, might he get his wish on a slippery slope draft night?

Drummond had a fracture in his back last year as well. Likely nothing to be concerned about...... other than such a giant frame carrying so much weight from a young age and the wear and tear factor.

                • I am wondering if Embiid had the fracture when he originally hurt his back against TCU and if so, why did Kansas not get the proper diagnosis. They rested him for just 2 games. Embiid should be not playing any more this season. There is too much at stake, financially.

                  • I think the C position on this team needs a boost and Adreian Payne out of Michigan deserves a look

I like Payne (even mentioned him on page 1 of this thread) but drafting him only makes sense if the Raps move another big. Otherwise, he isn't likely to get enough minutes behind JV, Amir, PP and Hansbrough.

Yeah that's true but the C position is clearly the weakest position on this team. Maybe we could amnesty Chuck Hayes?

                        • We need Ennis !!!! I would give my first born child if the Raps can draft him.

No, we can't amnesty him (or anyone). Trades or buy-outs are the only way.

Okay, well let's hope masai figures out a way to upgrade the C position this offseason.
