    Even when Putin is calm and reasonable, he still manages to sound like a crazy person.

    "Of course, we expected more," Putin said in televised remarks during the opening of a judo centre in the Siberian city of Tyumen.

    "But all the same it's not a reason to lose heart, scatter our heads with ashes and beat ourselves to exhaustion with chains."

    Although he added (ominously) that "serious critical analysis" will be called for. Maybe a few weeks in a Siberian Mine for the Russian Hockey team

    Russians need to ditch their arrogance (referring to the hockey). Incredibly talented team but their attitude seemed akin to entitlement, as if they were expecting a medal just because they're Russia.

      They are still stuck in their Soviet era beliefs regarding showing off the whole world how superior they are.
