  • Raps acquire De Colo from Spurs for Daye

6'5" 187lbs, turns 27 in June. Native of Sainte-Catherine-les-Arras, France
2nd round 53rd overall pick in the 2009 draft

    DX Scouting Report: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Nando-De-Colo-5087/

After last night's game, MU must have thought back to this:

    And for you trivia buffs:
Sainte-Catherine-lès-Arras is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France.

Inhabited since prehistoric times, the Pas-de-Calais region was populated in turn by the Celtic Belgae, the Romans, the Germanic Franks and the Alemanni. During the fourth and fifth centuries, the Roman practice of co-opting Germanic tribes to provide military and defence services along the route from Boulogne to Cologne created a Germanic-Romance linguistic border in the region that persisted until the eighth century.

Some of the costliest battles of World War I were fought in the region. The Battle of Vimy Ridge was a military engagement fought primarily as part of the Battle of Arras, in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France, during the First World War. The Vimy Memorial commemorates the Battle of Vimy Ridge and is Canada's most important memorial to its fallen soldiers.

Awesome trade. Very serviceable player, knows his role and does it well. Not a true PG, more of a combo guard with nice long distance shooting skills. A true winner, both in Euroleague and with the French national team. Above average rebounder for his position.

But the best line on his resume is obviously this one : he's a Spurs' pick...

I think we flubbed the deadline to be honest. We needed a true backup C behind Val more than anything else, and now we're rolling with Hayes. When we run out of fouls in the playoffs we're going to see this deadline as a wasted opportunity.

I listened to Masai on siriusxm yesterday.

Main message was patience and baby steps
