I think we need to come out in this game and try to establish Ross....they haven't been running plays for him and putting him in ISOs and are wondering why he is failing a bit.

Get him going will open up the floor so much, and engage him better on the defensive end

That's not how Casey does things all he cares is about defense not about getting Ross going on offense

I think we need to establish our inside presence ASAP and then we'll go from there.

Last game it was really hard to establish Jonas inside and he only got 4 shots. This needs to change for our bigs who are shooting well over 60%.

I think we need to do both...and Ross will help space the inside a bit so we can actually dump it down in there without the whole Nets team collapsing on our bigs

Casey is doing fine, the only one not ding fine is Ross, and this kid had better pull his head out of his ass really soon, Toronto can't win with just 3-4 players playing to their potential.

I know terrence has really fell of these playoffs, but I really want him to drop like 50 tomorrow just to regain his status as a future all star, everybody looks like they have given up on him. Time for him to prove everybody wrong, less go rosss
Of all the players, I just want to see him have one decent game before heading into the off season.

Casey's reluctancy to play fields hurt us a lot last game.
Salmons is looking more and more like a guy that's gonna get the vet's minimum (if he's lucky) in the offseason.

We made a good rally in the 4th because of Fields.

Tbh, we got to put Fields on either Joe Johnson or Deron Williams.
In 7 minutes, he got 2 steals and an offensive board. He missed an easy layup which is probably why Casey yanked him out.

A starting lineup of Lowry, DD, Fields, Patterson, Big V should get us going early

It leaves Vasquez and Amir to do their Pick and Rolls, and Ross to get going off the bench.

Ideally, Fields should be getting 20 minutes to make an impact defensively.
When Fields was in the game, we were intense on defense and Nets were struggling to get a shot off
The only reason he played Fields sparingly in Game 3 was because the Raptors were behind all game, and really, really needed someone that could stick a shot from the 3-spot.

What this team really needs is for Ross to hit shots again. As good as Fields is defensively the team still needs a guy like Ross to heat up and spread the floor.

Without Ross playing well, a specialist like Fields will never see the floor.

And another made-up BS Casey slag.

                    Keep 'em coming.
If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.

Trade Ross for Harrison Barnes. SF problem solved.

I'd do it. Younger than Ross and plays our position in need. Plus GSW wants a sixth man type player, Ross can be that.

This from E Koreen's article today about keeping Ross in the game. While I agree with the sentiment, I think there's someone with a Casey avatar that might not like the last line.

“Both [Ross and Jonas Valanciunas] are soaking up big minutes. If they weren’t young guys, if that wasn’t our future, our direction, they probably wouldn’t be in there with some of the mistakes they’re making. But, they’re our guys.”
