He did well in the D-League, but it's basically like coaching a college team where the coach has the fate of the player in his hands. It's not difficult to get players to put a good effort in. Just seems a bit green to take over as a head coach to me, but if they blow up the roster then it makes sense. Don't think that will happen though.

Based on Masai's presser; Casey is gone.

But if they are going for a change of style, I doubt Stack is the way they go - there's no body of work that's not just a tweak to what we already do.

If Masai is going to fire Casey it will be within the next couple weeks. I'm guessing he would want his coach's input on who to draft. If Casey is seen in Chicago during the combine than that would be some serious bad news for #FireCasey clan.

It's not happening, and I'm OK with that. I wanted him gone after the Milwaukee series, but I'm cool with seeing this play itself out.
In no particular order:- Casey has finally, utterly seen, there is no rock to pound. Or effort to give, that will allow this type of offense to win him a title.
- Demar and Kyle have to finally have seen the utter futility in ride or die. Demars presser firmly explained that.
- Masai has dropped the hammer on this style of play. And its culture.
Casey is coaching for his career. Not his job anymore. The NBA has very clearly moved on from ISOball. Either he shows he can move with it, or he'll never be a head coach again. That's plenty of motivation for a 'culture change'
