  • The benefits of 3 years of agony (without the losing) in 1 trade!

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine/?tradeId=nlu66og

    Sacramento: Lowry

    New York: DeRozan

    Orlando: Patterson, Vasquez, Ross

    Toronto:

    Channing Frye
    Jose Calderon
    Jason Thompson
    Nik Staukas
    Maurice Harkless
    Andrew Nicholson
    #4 (Mudiay-Russell)
    #5 (Hezonja)
    #6 (Porzingis)

Raptors Lineup is young but they have solid a few solid professionals. Never heard anything negative said about Frye, Thompson, or Calderon. Thompson is $2M guaranteed next season, Calderon expires in 2017, and Frye (with his declining contract) expires in 2018.

    PG: Mudiay, Calderon
    SG: Staukas, Hezonja
    SF: JJ, Harkless Bruno
    PF: Porzingis, Frye, Thompson, Nicholson
    C: JV, Bebe

    plus #20

At first, I thought "another nutcase trade proposal", then I realized mcHappy would not do that.
    Certainly a "ballsy" move.
    1. Sac -Maybe a tad too nice for us? No 20 to Sac & I could LIKELY see this.
    2. NY -Give me a break. Why not screw them again? Seriously, I think Phill jumps at this.
    3. Probably not enough for Orlando. Then again, how many more young guys that do not develop do they need? 3 (still) Young veterans from a playoff team might entice them.
    Personally, I'd do all 3.

Mario looks like a rex chapman, Brent Barry type of player.

Can handle the ball, very athletic, good court vision, great form on shot, fearless, and determined

The possibility of being able to pair him with winslow and mudiay is insane.

you would have fantastic athletes, great teammates, great shooting, ball handling and passing and very very good defense.

Would need a stretch 4 to fill ouot team, perhaps a guy like perry jones or thad young.

                  Mudiay
                  Mario
                  Winslow
                  Jones3
                  JV

personally i think we are being to nice to sactown
they have proven they can't draft well (nic stauskas) that doesn't really matter though
But they are shipping off jason thompson who is really just a contract
Nic stauakas who just is a very good player right now and also DOES NOT fit with sac town just because ben mclenmore is just so much better and the sixth pick (i know the kings aren't confident in their ability to draft players)
they will end up drafting somebody horrible if they don't trade the pick.
And they get kyle lowry a top 10 point guard in the league so i think the drade is fair for them.

I think we would have to give orlando more. I think giving them Jonas and gv would be a good trade.
