You guys are really underrating your own players. Sure we get our best "alpha dog" since vince carter, but we leave holes all over the roster and BOTH 2016 picks?? One of them could fall anywhere from 3-10 in the draft! Boogie is not anthony davis, he will not transform our roster overnight. In addition. He's also a proven headcase. Both of these trade offers you guys made make us worse next year and probably in the future. I thinnk JV, ross(or maaybe demar) and our 20th pick is all you need. If not then its not worth it.

Boogie is a top-ten player in this league. Period. He plays at JV's position so that's not a loss, and Ross is at this point a dead-end project. Lowry and the picks are the real price, and you compensate by getting Stauskas back in the trade as well.

A couple things:
-lowry and 2016 knicks alone is way too much imo. There is another thread here talking about the utmost importance of the draft, and with nyk and den both looking to be dreadful, we should protect that pick like gold unless lebron kevin or steph got really stoned and love purple dinosaurs.
-you ccould argue boogie is a fringe top 10 player, but context is everything. True TOP guys (davis, durant, james, curry, harden) carry teams all by themselves. Sacramento sucks. So would we if we were left with boogie, demar, 2pat and no picks.

And as far as I can tell so far, stauskas projects to be ross without the dunks..but hooray he's CANADIAN!!
