Probably not. But could most of them come off the bench behind Patrick Patterson? Yeah.

Patrick Patterson is capable of being a pretty good starting PF in the NBA, and is a great fit beside JV.

And Marc Spears of ESPN is reporting that Denzel Valentine will be in the green room on draft night too. We're now up to 17 reported invitees by my count.

If the report about Denzel's knees are true, we've also likely found the last attendee to leave the green room.

It doesn't make sense to be comparing other prospects' deficiencies (rebounding and rim protection: looking at you Skal and Sabonis) with Patterson's because neither have his combination of skills.

It's impossible to evaluate Patterson as a starter, realistically. He never got the opportunity to adjust into that role this year.

But we do know he's a great fit beside JV, he's a good defender, he doesn't need the ball, he's a good teammate, and he spaces the floor. Checks all the boxes for me.
