I really like Murray - passport aside.

He has size to play SG.

He can play as 6th man in first year or two.

Then move to PG whenever Lowry is done.

Or he could slot in next to Joseph if Joseph becomes starter material.


There could be lots of options available longer term to get a PF. I could see Favors becoming a possibility if they determine they need more shooting at PF in Utah. You have Ibaka in 2017, possibly Mirotic.


But Bender looks interesting, no doubt.

And KD eventually molding Bruno into a exact carbon copy of how he plays the game. It'll be great for KD's legacy and for de Raps as well as having a KD-type player on our team for the next 10+ years, or two.

If things break right/wrong for Knicks and Nuggets this year, the 2016 Draft could be the solution for the Raptors at PF moving forward. Between Bender, Skal, Simmons, (although Simmons can play at SF, I think long term he could be dynamic and multifaceted PFs), and Ellenson, there could be plenty of talent available to the Raptors at a position of need.

Edit: I originally had Ingram in this list of PF options, as for some reason I thought he was around 230lbs instead of 196lbs according to DraftExpress. Must have been mixing details in my head, but he won't have the physical size to be a PF in the NBA.
