Heard this on Nate Duncan's mock trade podcast and it seemed decent:

TOR receives: R. Anderson & T. Douglas (I think, it was just some cap-filler)

NO receives: L. Scola, L. Noguiera, A. Bennett, 2016 TOR 1st, 2017 TOR 2nd


I believe Nate Duncan was negotiating as the Raptors and convinced whoever was being the Pelicans GM (might have been Dany LeRoux, but I'm blanking) to not include Patterson in the deal which I think was really smart.

My issue with Ryan Anderson is that he's an awful defender next to Anthony Davis. How's he going to look next to any other center?

The dominant stretches in his career have come next to a dominant defensive big man. Dwight or Davis. JV is neither of those guys.
