Yeah... the bastards just don't know they are dead yet....
The won't go quietly .. but go they will...

FWIW... check out the Bulls Blog ... looks almost exactly like this one does at times as fans in Chicago want to

        a) get rid of their best player (split between Rose and Butler)
        b) tank so they can get the rebuild started with a better pick
        c) want the coach fired
There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

I actually read something in ESPN today that mentioned a rumor that the Bulls might look to shop Butler. I only saw the headline, but if there is a rumor, I'm sure the crack RR investigation team could scour the interweb for the details.

I was thinking that he could be an interesting target, either to replace DeRozan or to pair with DeRozan. Just think of the defense and the 2-way play the Raptors could have on the wings with Carroll and Butler (both being healthy, of course).

          • Lookin at the Pacers, Pistons and Bulls schedule. I have a feeling we'll play the Bulls in the 1st round.

Maybe we have to rest Lowry and Derozan against the Pacers on Friday.

                      • If Bulls lose to Heat tonight we can pretty much close down this thread. Pistons have tiebreaker over Bulls.

                        • We actually need the Bulls to win this one. Bulls will play the Cavs next so this game doesn't really matter. They're done.

We need the Heat to finish 4th.

                          • It's pretty ironic. Raptors are 0-4 against the Bulls this year. Couldn't find any way to win. Be up big in the 4th quarter? Loss. Have the Bulls field their bench as a starting line up? Loss. Whatever game, whatever combination of players and plays, we lost every game. It may not be the only team that swept us this year but it's the only one that swept 4 games. The Raptors could not defeat the Bulls. But tonight, with one very excusable loss to the Pacers, they can do what they haven't done all year. Beat the Bulls..out of the playoffs. It would probably happen anyway even if the Raps win but it would certainly be a delicious silver lining on any loss tonight.

                            • Bulls are done unless they win every game they have left and Indiana losses every game they have left.

Best the Bulls can do is 8th. It wont come to that. Cavs and Lebron will finish them off Saturday at the latest. The dismantling of this team begins at the draft.....
