Will investigate shortly but sounds like a weird stat. If it's total wins (as opposed to %) then it just as likely shows how we play down to opponents as anything else.

I'll see what I can dig up on BBRef.

Top in wins, 3rd in W%. 3rd in total clutch games played, but there's not much spread there, half the league or so between 40 and 50 clutch games played.

Well that's good to know because I always feel like we do so much foolishness down the stretch of close games. It's crazy that we win most of them

There seems to have been a number of games that we have been up by double digits this season only to have our leads squandered at the end of the game with us clinging to life with a slight lead as the buzzer sounds. In these cases it doesn't seem like it was anything we did right at the end to win it. We just didn't do enough wrong to lose it as bad as we were.

But then again I guess 5 minutes is a long time to have a close score and still win. What is considered a close game btw?

Usually 5 points or less (for stats purposes).

Weirdly enough, we are 14-26 in games decided by 5 points or less this year.

How? We only have 26 losses for the whole year.

You forgot to qualify no losses by more than 5 points.

Record is actually 14-11 in those games.
