To follow up on the main page from yesterday, as a reminder that "everyone didn't get better", check out the front page on espn nba today. Two articles questioning what the Heat and Hawks (two expected eastern rivals) have done this summer.

Heat fans are going to be absolutely floored by the D-Wade news when they find out midway through the first quarter of the season opener.

Rick Barry was one of the best shooters in the game, he could've shot one handed with his wrong arm and still drained 70% from the FT line.

Rockets draft pick Chinanu Onuaku shot 47% from the line his freshman year, so he went the Rick Barry route last year and shot 59% last year.
May not sound great, but consider he had been shooting normally his entire career, and that was his first year shooting underhand. If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.

They talked about Millsap trades with Phoenix, Denver, Toronto and HoustonWe might see more teams with impending free agents in this age range consider moving them. Unfortunately for tradeniks, the two most interesting potential candidates are point guards on very good teams who won't deal them: Kyle Lowry and Chris Paul. Both have player options for 2017-18 that they will almost certainly decline to dip into free agency. Paul will be 32 at that point, with knee injuries and a ton of minutes in the rearview. Lowry will be 31. Point guards do not typically age well, though perhaps Lowry playing as backup for the first half of his career bodes well for his longevity.
If they play to their normal levels this season, both will seek the maxLast edited by Mess; Thu Jul 7, 2016, 11:09 AM.Two beer away from being two beers away.

Still not much movement on even rumors about Terrence Jones/D-Mo/Sulinger/JT so at least that's a good news. At C we are at least 3 man deep, on PF not so much.
Maybe Masai want to have as much wiggle room to trade for as long as possible?
