I don't disagree with you at all. But I believe some people did concede to not actually reading the gameplans half the time when voting. Lol Not sure really.

Question about gameplans, since its no longer a sentence count, could the gameplan be bullet point format?

I certainly have no issue with that.

Biggest concerns from last year to this year is trying to keep them consistent in length (and shorter) but also "readable". Last year saw the ultimate use of run-on sentences and generous use of noun-modifiers that would have our high school English teachers in fits. Word count will keep people more honest in that regard.

Couple of ideas for this rolling around the ol noggin.

One option would be to allow an additional section called "team profile" where you can use another 100 words to talk about your team overall make up and strategy - the kicker would be that this doesn't change from match to match; so it's really an over-view of your main philosophy and would allow for gameplans to focus more on wrinkles to that as it pertains to your opponent.

The other option would be to simply increase word count. (This entire post, not including this final sentence, is 150 words for point of reference).
