  • Different SAC-TOR option

Yes it is still Boogie, let's face the fact that he is dominant and any time you can get him under market value then it is worth a try.

    In - Boogie
    Out - Ross, 2Pat and a 2nd rounder

I'm not sold that he can not play beside JV with his 3 point range and spaced minutes. It could mean that we have a dominant big man on the court at all times. Hence T-Ross and 2Pat in exchange for Boogie could work, maybe throw in a second for good measure if needed. 2Pat may walk after this year as well.

Sacramento get to diversify, bringing in Ross who could very well flourish. They don't need JV or another C, Koufos can hold that down until the mountain of youth are ready. Hence 2Pat can be an amazing inclusion as a starter or off the bench.

If the experiment doesn't work you could go as far as to continue down the LMA for JV pipeline, throwing in a 1st rounder to sweeten the pot.

    1 - Lowry/Joseph/VanVleet
    2 - DeRozan/Powell
    3 - Caroll/Caboclo
    4 - Boogie/Siakam/Sully (LMA/Siakam/Sully)
    5 - JV/Bebe/Poeltl (Boogie/Bebe/Poeltl)

We massively improve our core, still have a very strong bench, depth in case of injuries, keep a first rounder to target a 3 and D and open minutes for Powell.

    Love to get your thoughts.

Almost every team in the league will outbid that offer.

If you want to make a non-JV deal work, you have to load it up with prospects and picks and hope other teams aren't willing to give up the same quantity of assets, as we can't match raw quality of assets from teams like BOS.
