The Nets, who were hapless against the Raptors, seemed to have found their hap (perhaps it has a last name of Lopez).

Nets lead the Warriors by 16 at the half (could have easily been 25 but the Nets had a run of shots that rimmed out in the 2nd quarter).

Nets also threw up 3 airballs in about a 2 minute span in the 2nd quarter.

Yeah, we've kinda been talking about everything but the game.

DD's going to have his work cut out. Opponents only shooting .450 from 2 vs Utah, #1 in the league and it's not close. Next best 2 pt defence is Memphis at .476.

Another thing to watch is is whether Utah tries to take advantage of our league worst defensive rebounding. They usually get back rather than crash the glass, 26th in ORB%.

We're lucky Derrick Favors should still be on a minutes restriction, otherwise he'd be a problem.

With George Hill and Dante Exum both out, Lowry should have an easy time with Shelvin Mack. If Rodney Hood is back we'll need to really play tight on the perimeter as both he and Hayward can bomb it from outside.

Yeah, lots of luck for the Raps injury wise in this one. Hill is huge for them.

In any case - game day! Thank goodness.

Big big test for the Raptors. Utah has a top 10 offense (8) and defense (4). Utah is also a hard place to play in as well due to their altitude.

A win here would show that the Raptors can beat an elite team. Although I guess they did that already when they beat Houston.
no no no, you got it backwards...a loss would show that utah can beat an elite team.

You know the Raptors getting respect around the league when opposition blogs are consistently calling our team elite and predicting a loss for the home team.

You shouldn’t need any extra reasons to tune in to the Utah Jazz’s upcoming contest against the Toronto Raptors on Friday evening. The Raptors are one of the elite teams in the league, second only to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the East and of course our beloved Jazz, despite a recent mini-slump, are playing great basketball and are right in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race

    Prediction – Raptors 105, Jazz 98
While both Rudy Gobert and Gordon Hayward played great in the recent loss to the Kings, it ended up still not being enough. As Utah slogs through a never-ending slew of injuries and given their play of late I’m feeling a bit under-confident of their chances of beating a team as top-notch as the Raptors.

Might see some major shot blocking tonight.

Which group will end up with more blocks?

    A. Gobert/Favors/Withey

    B. Bebe/Pascal/JV
