Yeah I'm sure LMA would be fine with getting JV's FGA...all 9 of them. Give him all of CoJo's and that bumps him up to 17. Just 3 more than what he gets in SA - where he's unhappy. No thanks.

If we can do that without sending them picks, then we can shed Carroll with our pick (ideally by trading down rather than out), and pitch Lowry, Ibaka and Tucker on slightly lower deals to bring them all back below the tax or just a moderate amount above it. Go for it.

I like JV, but if they are going to trade him, Aldridge is a heck of a player.

He got more minutes, so he ended up with more total touches. But in terms of per possession usage, he got used very, very close to once every 5 possessions, just like JV.

No idea whether he'd like it here. I suspect they'd find him touches, so it wouldn't be because of that he'd not like it. Heck, midrange jumpers is our thing, seems like destiny to get Aldridge.

We keep hoping that players around Derozan can shoot threes with great accuracy and frequency but the player who gets the most possessions and usage can not shoot the three even if his life depended on it

I feel like Masai has to make some type of move tonight. To show Lowry that his best chance to win is here. LMA just seems like the perfect fit. Deebo/LMA Pick n Pop surrounded by Kyle, Norm and Ibaka. Would be very hard to guard.
