Casey wins again. He's our Pop. Just accept it I guess
I'm beginning to wonder what kind of dirt he has on Masai. Or maybe he's been the real Jedi all along.

    Masai: "We need ball movement!"

Casey: "That isn't the system you're looking for."

Masai: "That isn't the system I'm looking for."

Casey: "We don't need a dramatic change. We'll just try a little bit."

Masai: "We don't need a dramatic change. We'll just try a little bit."

    Casey: "Move along, move along."

    Masai: "Move along, move along."

      Trade exception

So your trade theory is predicated on Toronto giving Memphis a piece of paper and Memphis gives Toronto a 27 year old PF with promise.

still pretty sure Casey is on the hot seat.

Regarding our offence, it doesn't have to be a dramatic change to be a critical one. we shouldn't be trying to go 7seconds or less or anything. We just need to pass more willingly in the half court and keep everyone involved as more than just spot-up shooters, since we don't really have any of those on our roster anymore (except for Miles).
That's not Casey..that's a hint to the two guys that handle the ball the most.

What does this show with our 2 guys?
If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.

            • Pretty good presser in that Ujiri answered questions without his usual PhD level of circumlocution.

              1. Transparent on his options to move one of Carroll or JV for tax relief. Told both players and their agents about it.
              2. Don't look for a radical change in the offense but he is expecting some more ball movement from Lowry and Derozan.
              3. Is expecting more offensive rebounding from JV.
              4. More attention to detail on both ends of the floor is expected. Me theorizing but that means the sloppy switches that were rampant last year have to be reduced and the three or four consecutive sequences where the ball gets stuck and a Hail Mary shot goes up with .9 seconds left on the shot clock have to be cut down dramatically. He can ask
              5. He is expecting far better shooting make rates than they got last year.

Telling line when he got asked a couple of times about culture reset.....If your looking for a major change in the way the Raps play ball then don't watch this team.

He won't be known for his taste of fashion off the court and that is a good thing~!

How many of those are meaningless passes to the top of the key? Passes out of pressure only to set up and re-try an iso or to ask for a screen? Last ditch passes after wearing down the clock and dribbling into traffic?

There's a reason we're near the bottom in practically every passing/assist category, while DeMar and Kyle are near the top of field goals attempted with lots of dribbles and time of possession.

Man what happened to the Kings? They've been very uncharacteristically "unkingsly" this off season. Did Vivek get deported or something?
