I like Powell a lot, he's still young and a bit undersized. Last postseason he looked great against PG then got taken to the woodshed by a savvy D-Wade and quickly became unplayble in the second round. That doesn't happen with Tucker, more experience but also tough, versatile, a good defender and has a 3 pt shot.

Powell's ceiling is higher and his time is coming, soon.

Oh, yeah in the playoffs give him a short leash. But for the next 26 games, let him run. My mistake.

I can't remember the old rumor but didn't Tucker had a bad relationship with the coaching staff one of the reasons why the Raptors gave up on him so quickly when he got drafted?!

Now I just want him in over Carroll lol.

Should be interesting next summer...let's try and keep PJ at 10 million, ship out Carroll...ship out Cojo...that saves 12 million...not sure how much that helps in Lowry+Ibaka+2Pat but we've got some options

We really need to finish in the top 3 now.
Ditto. Fininishing 4/5 is kiss of death.

Bounced from league and 2 years in Germany is a great wake up call for a young, immature athlete.

To keep Lowry, Ibaka, Tucker, and Patterson means JV, Carroll, and Joseph are all traded.

Otherwise you're looking at the most expensive team in LEAGUE history.

If you keep PJ long term, you assume it is as a backup 3/4. Meaning you probably only bring back one of Pat or Ibaka. More likely PJ really is just a rental for this run, unless you can get him for well under that 10M.

What was the point of not just signing him though

Can we keep Ibaka, Patterson, Lowry and Valanciunas?
