That has nothing to do with comparing their games.

lol. Yao Ming and Sim Bhullar have to be in there somewhere, because you just offended 2+ billion people by leaving those guys out of the mix. Fwiw, Yak actually comps himself to Pau Gasol.... at least that's what he aims for.
Yes, i was going to post this:

"I can be a lot like Pau Gasol," said University of Utah sophomore center Jakob Poeltl, who interviewed with the Lakers on Friday here at the NBA pre-draft combine. "He's a guy who has good touch around the basket and is a very good passer. He can dribble the ball. He's even stepping out and shooting 3's. I hope I can get there too. He's a winner and won championships. I can do that, too."

The Todd McCollough comparison is so offensive smh.

Poeltl is more of a Chris Kaman type player. Better defender/more athletic version.

Damn, with as little data to go on as "7 feet tall, mobile, good hands, positions himself well" you could compare him to an endless list of guys, whether black, white, brown, or purple. It's futile. It's going to show more about how familiar we are/aren't with the long list of past and present NBA 7 footers than anything else.

Personally I'd comp him to some combination of Clint Capela less the hops, Cody Zeller due to general caucasianness, Timofey Mozgov but lighter on his feet, Tristan Thompson with a jump shot, a poor man's young Pau Gasol, a young Kyle O'Quinn with a higher ceiling and on a better team, and Al Horford just a bit taller but not as good.

              There, nailed it.
I prefer the "Bill Russell with a touch of Eric Montross" comparison

Also, poor-man's Pau seems like a good comp for me. Not crazy strong or athletic, but good coordination/fluidity, hands, and bball iq allow him to have good upside on both ends of the floor.

I'm trying to keep up with how many of these comps are white guys, but I can't count that high.

                        You're all racist!
