JV has been disappointing so far.

He's been fine. He hans't been involved at all on O. Has gotten his hands on a couple of OREBs that won't be counted in the boxscore because he got fouled/couldn't control it but got us an extra possession both times.

He has actually been fine defensively. Nothing special, but our D was mostly affected by not controlling the pace early. (Milwaukee built their lead right after Casey took out JV actually). We can't get the chance to set, and there ends up being no help down low.

He gave up a somewhat awkward OREB to Monroe for a score. He had a garbage call made on him while guarding Monroe.

Speaking of pace, as I type this Giannis gets a transition AND1 opportunity because Tucker misses an open 3 (where JV was wide open under the bucket, again). I know Tucker can hits corner 3s, but if he misses, that's what happens, because between him, JV and whoever is on the other side, we basically have 3 guys at baseline level. Just pass to JV and take the 2. Get the chance to set your damn D.
