I don't see any reason MLSE would release him, but could totally see Ujiri being intrigues by the offer. It's New York, MSG, the mecca of basketball. If he can return that shit show of a franchise to prominence then he can basically name his price, his conditions, or whatever. He'd be at the top of the of the GM list, next to Buford, and maybe Ainge.
