Calgary is one of the nicest cities I've ever seen. There is no drop off from Toronto to Calgary, it's just smaller, that's all.

.. like looks is only one piece of an equation. Calgary is a nice looking city. That said there is more than just it's population size. Toronto/Montreal and Vancouver all are better cities in my honest opinion.
