1. It won't happen and that's simply because Masai is locked into extension
2. The whole point of it being a "shitshow" is what would be intriguing because if he gets them back on track in "The Mecca of Basketball" Masai would make himself the most talked about GM in all of basketball and likely the highest paid. It's not like he would have to worry that it WAS a shitshow because since he is the one IN CHARGE that would change immediately. In NY there would be a legit "culture reset" (unlike here). Can you imagine how hype Knicks' fans would be to be a 50+W team again?!
