    1. How many wins will the Raptors get? 51

    2. What seed do the Raptors end up with in the Eastern conference? 1st or 2nd..It's going to be a shit show in Cleveland. Is Irving moved for futures? Is Lebron leaving next year? The circus will be in full swing.

    3. Who will the Raptors face in round 1 of the playoffs? Pistons or Hinkies

    4. Who will be representing Toronto in the NBA all-star game? The usual suspects, Demar and Kyle..

    5. Will Masai make a trade before the deadline? If so who's a goner? If he makes a move one of Freddy or Bebe go along with the TPE

    6. Who will start on opening night? Powell or Miles? If JV/Ibalka start it's Powell. If Ibalka/Poeltl start it's Miles.

    7. What will DeMar's 3pt% be by the end of the season? ~ 35%..Demar surprises his critics yet again.

    8. How many regular season games will JV start in? > 60 games

    9. Who averages more mpg? FVV or OG. FVV

    10. Who of KJ McDaniels, Alfonzo McKinnie, Kennedy Meeks, and Kyle Wiltjer will remain on the roster after January 10th?
    McKinnie

    Some NBA predictions:

    1. Who wins the 2017-2018 title? GSW

    2. Who's representing the East in the NBA Finals? RAPS!!!

    3. Who wins MVP? Durant

    4. Who wins ROY? Dennis Smith Jr.

    5. Do Kyrie and Melo get traded? If so where are they going?

Carmelo stays in the Mecca...it's his last year under contract before he can opt out in an early termination option. The Knicks will get 25m in cap space and he won't affect their draft position to much. He gets to see where super friend Lebron goes and can join that banana boat for a run at a title.Everyone wins.

Irving is traded ! ...SWAG is he gets his ticket punched for Phoenix who eventually waits out Cleveland and parts with Bledsoe, one of Chriss or Bender and a future first that's top 8 protected.
There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

I'm really surprised that most people here are picking Ball to win the ROY. I mean, Dennis Smith Jr. is a hell of a player. And he's going to play a ton of mins for the Mavs.

Why would Dallas trade for two more centres when they just traded for Nerlens Noel?
Cuz it's on a Raps Forum, duh! (And, no, I would not do that trade)

Boston is better than us. The firepower from their two lead guys (IT and Hayward) is on par with ours and Horford is better than Ibaka. Plus, unlike us, they actually have a real 3+D SF who can defend top wings and small-ball 4s at a good level. They also have a more creative coach.

I think we've actually fallen into the 3rd tier of the east. Cleveland is tier one, Boston is tier two and tier three is us, Milwaukee and Washington.
Boston is NOT better than Toronto. On the same plane maybe to yes but they are not quantum leaps ahead of either the Raps or the Whiz. You need a wheelbarrow to clean up the pile of crap that the NBA media machine drops as they strive to make the Celtics relevant again.

Crowders good but he isnt an all NBA defender. Bradley was but his mail is being forwarded to Detroit for now...not Boston.

              Consider the following:

They are going to struggle on the glass big time this year. They were 27th last year and actually lost the guys who got them to that lofty spot. Good riddance to those bums you say....well sorta... as they didn't get anyone any better in Baynes and Morris than the guys they lost in that area. Gord is a perimeter player and while he will score he isn't going to bang the glass on either end of the floor.

Horford will get the snot kicked out of him as he plays a lot at the 5. Winner of the idiot haircut of the year Baynes isn't even remotely close to a starting C. Al left Atlanta cuz he didn't like playing in the middle and he will wear down as the season marches on.

Marcus not so Smart can't hit the three. You rag Demar on his % ..This guy is career 29% from three. The poster child for air ball of the month.

IT is a wonderful scorer...his defense though makes Jose Calderon look like Gary "The Glove" Payton. It's shockingly poor. He is also coming off an injury that takes time to heal.

They are overly giddy on how much Tatum is going to actually deliver when he plays against the men. He is a rookie and there are going to be a lot of WTF moments for him as he holds his dick in his hand as the other team trots back after an easy basket as he forgot or got lost on a switch.

The Chowdas are more hype than substance as the Easts heir to Lebron.

Boston is better. They were on par with us last year and got better this summer while we took a step back.

Saying they did is worth two thirds of three eighths of the square root of fuck all.

I think Boston will struggle in the early part of the year for rebounding and d reasons listed above.

That said if we are banking on internal growth of Powell and Wright it's reasonable to think Jalen Brown should see nice improvements too. Will Tatum get major minutes? We shall see.

In some ways the ceiling of both Toronto and Boston is linked to the growth of the young guys.

There is a story that's saying Irving is going to Boston for Thomas.....
This will change things ..a lot.

                            Yes.

Boston is going to still struggle on the glass ...on the offensive end particularly. Nothing changes there. Smart will still struggle from the field at the arc and Tatum is still a rookie who is going to make the mistakes and have the same miserable games all rookies have. Horford still prefers not to play the 5 as he isn't built for it. Morris isn't Crowder on defence and Jaylen Brown is a 2nd year guy who is carrying the weight of expectations he might not be able to meet.

I do think Irving is an upgrade over Thomas but that incremental improvement on offence is negated with the loss of Crowder on the defensive end. Boston has gone from an in your face, hate to play these f*ckers defensive team, to a pretty soft team without Bradley, Crowder and possibly Olynyk who would hand out more than a few cheap shots during the season. Gord is a lot of things but a defensive intimidator isn't one of them.

Still believe they finish 3 or 4. Ainge gave up a lot in this deal and is betting big on Tatum and Brown being impact players in two years time.

Gotta wait to see if it pays off..but this year..they look to be worse than last years edition even with Irving. Offence may be better but just to many solid defenders have left and it doesn't look like they have been backfilled at all.
