I don't understand, what makes Stevens overrated?!

He's been successful at every level, took a core of players nobody thought twice about before BOS (IT, Crowder, Bradley, Olynk) to #1st in the East and has managed to take almost a completely made over roster lose their 2nd best player and best for a couple of games, yet they're again #1 in the East and have the best defense in the league despite completely lacking rim protection and rebounding (which is a common argument on these boards to keep JV)....

He's only proving to be worthy of the hype if anything.

People like Christian were saying that Stevens is over-rated and over-hyped by the media, but I agree that he's living up to the hype.

In my opinion the Rockets should be at least 2nd in the West for Harden to take it. Westbrook winning win a non-dominant team should be an anomaly.

Yeah think the Pistons trend down a bit as the season goes on, the Bucks will be a bit better, and the Cavs will keep moving up even if they have to play Lebron 40 mpg. They have too much pride to let themselves be embarrassed like the first few weeks.

I haven't watched any Pistons games, everybody expected more of them last year and they weren't that good so they were sort of forgotten this season. What's changed?

Avery Bradley filled a hole they severely lacked. Drummond is playing inspired 2 way basketball, very good defense where he was once a minus, and hitting his free throws. It is part smoke and mirrors and I think settle in the 6 to 8 range by midseason
