From Charlotte : Gerald Wallace and D.J. Augustin

Gives us a defensive lift, rebounding and a slasher. Plus back up point guard that can learn from a true play maker and creator. (Jose)

Charlotte gets a reliable PG after loosing Felton. Also a good shooter and creator in Hedo.

Okay, well first of all.. Gerald Wallace is only getting better, Turkoglu is the opposite and 4 years older. The numbers, Gerald Wallace is an All Star, he averaged a double-double last year.. (though the fact that he's on Charlotte probably has something to do with it, though not an excuse.. He'd still be a great player on any team)And he has amazing defense.. Turkoglu's is decent at best; Wallace named to NBA All Defensive First Team last year.

D.J. Augustin will be a starting P.G eventually.. No doubt, he had an amazing college career and I understand that Jarett Jack is young too, and already an accomplished guard in the NBA, which would be an upside.. I understand that, and you were probably trying to out weigh Jack's upside by Turk's downside, but this is too good to ever be true for the Raptors.

Given the trades that are already happening (Hedo to phoenix), this trade is obsolete. However it should be noted that BC had already tried to trade for Wallace a long time ago and talks died after he said he didn't want to play in Toronto.
