I said this on another thread, but damn, that is depressing. I realise that things are a bit awkward because there is a camera in their face. But still, living in a Holiday Inn and having holiday dinner at an IHOP sucks. I'd want to come back to the NBA as soon as possible too. I'm happy that both Ed and Solo have made it back and will continue to develop. Hopefully no more trips back down to Erie.

They still get their NBA checks so they could go to any hotel/restaurant they want.

Its nice that they still get their NBA checks instead of D-League money. I don't know if they get to eat wherever they like, but I'm pretty certain that their accommodation is through the team and mandatory. Maybe I'm wrong. In any event, I wish them both success. Hopefully Alabi develops into something. Davis looks like he's going to be solid.

clearly you haven't had their pancakes. what professional athlete wouldnt want to celebrate their holidays eating a stack of pancakes layered with cinnamon filling and lathered with icing and whipped cream, then go back to their motel room that stinks faintly of fort erie hooker juice and watch some pay-per-view porn?

I haven't. But I do know something about the lingering smell of Fort Erie hooker juice. Everyone knows that Fort Erie has the stinkiest hookers. That's why locals go to Wainfleet, where they include a free dozen eggs and some fresh bacon.
