  • LeBron's thoughts on the Cav's 55 point loss

Aparantly LeBron tweeted "Karma is a b----" after the big loss last night. This guy just needs to shut his mouth. Doug Smith said he's throwing salt into a wound that he opened. It's not like Cleveland has done something bad to him and he wants to get back at them; he's done the hurting. I hope this guy rips an ACL.

    what a douche.

Karma will be a bitch when he still can't get past the celtics in the playoffs even with wade and joel bosh's brother... whatever his name is.

Two options, or a mix them:

1- A case of marketing gone terribly wrong. I'm ok with playing the villain (or as basketbawful put it: the wronged hero) and everything, but this stuff is really too much...the nba is not the wwe.
2- He's just an asshole and his crew can't control his assholeness.

I'm sure it's mainly directed towards the Cavs owner...

This is the first Miami/LeBron hate thread in some time, where did all the haters go from the beginning of the season? Cat must've got your tongues...

I don't get why you all say James is an ass for this. Yes how he left was horrible (which is why I think he is an asshole, not because he left but how) but he was the only reason people even considered Cleveland a franchise. He pretty much almost won a championship on his own. When he decided to leave (which he has every right to do after 7 years) he got shit from everyone instead of a thank you for the 7 years he spent with them. Dan Gilbert also raged at him, so yes Karma was a bitch.

p.s, to all those who think it's the same with Bosh. It isn't. We owe nothing to Bosh. He brought us the the 8th seed many times. We were not contenders, just the middle of the pack. Although Bosh didn't do an asshole-ish televised 'decision' he did fuck us up by not warning anyone that he was leaving.

Bingo, that's exactly who it was directed at but that doesn't matter. James again has let his ego run the show and he again has offended a whole state and irritated basketball fans everywhere with his lack of class. If there is really balance in this universe this clown will never win a championship.

regardless of who it was targetted at, it's extremely tactless

it's like he doesnt think before he speaks, and doesnt care about the repercussions of his actions.. like the world revolves around him

He reminds me of the Omega Theta Pi fraternity from Animal House

                LBJ's Response

James' tweet seems to show he has lingering bitterness toward Gilbert.

However, James denied that was the case.

"It wasn't no hit at that franchise, no hit at that team, especially those players at all, " he said. "I've moved on and hopefully that organization is continuing to move on, but I'm happy where I am as a Miami Heat player."
"It was just how I was feeling at the time, " he said. "It wasn't even a comment from me, it was someone who sent it to me and I sent it out. It wasn't towards that team. It definitely wasn't a good showing by that team last night, I know they wish they would have played better, but nothing towards them."
"Everyone looks into everything that I say, " he said. "Everybody looked too far into it."

Even if someone wrote it to him first, he still retweeted it and they became his.

exactly. it's like saying "i wasn't watching kiddie porn. THAT guy was watching kiddie porn. I borrowed it from him and rewatched it."

Why? You said it: it's the how. I'm not defending gilbert or the hysterics of some people from cleveland or anybody else...they all might be assholes but that doesn't improve james' position in my eyes. His past merits or basketball skills or other people's idiocy don't change the fact that his behavior is often offensive, pathetic and arrogant.
