I think a good portion of the responsibility lies with the perimeter players. Parker, Manu, and Hill got in to the key time adn time again. Once in there the defensive rotations were brutal as well - and by brutal I mean non-existent.

Bargnani's faults in this are well known and documented.

This team needs a rebounding, defensive freak at the 3 and a PG who can contain dribble penetration. Jose has been better this year but that doesn't say much, unfortunately. Against the better guards in the league he is still burned.

Being at the game last night, you can see it clear as day. The Raps have a few guys underneath the basket battling for rebounds meanwhile Bargnani is at the top of the key. Very frustrating.

I think its official that he is not a starter because starters in the NBA play both sides of the ball. So he is here till we find something better and move him to a off the bench scorer role, don't get me wrong his versatility in scoring the ball is enough to justify him being on a championship team but not as a starter unless you have Dwight Howard next to him, even then....

anyways coaching is another part of the problem and I think Triano is a above avg assistant coach but most definitely not a head coach. san antonio did not do anything special to win this game to have a 20 pt swing in the 4th quarter.
That's not entirely true. There are many starters in the league who play only one side of the ball, only that's DEFENSE!!! F*&K! There are many offensive specialists but to your point they are off the bench.

It seems the only way Bargnani is going to bang the boards is if his girlfriend grabs the back of his head and starts slamming it on the table. Wait...that might help.

How many teams do we see, "season high", "career high" associated with a Raptors opponent, either team or individual. It's pretty embarassing really. And I get the pleasure of watching this embarassment live for their next two games. Oh well at least I get to se Blake Griff on Sunday. I'm thinking he goes for like 50 and 25 two more career highs.

For sure Blake is going to annihilate the Raps.

Can someone tell me why Bargs and Demar were on the bench in a really close game to start the 4th when the bench wasn't doing shit all game?
don't understand why jay does things that he does...he should take demar out with 2 minutes left in the 1st q and put him back in with about 9 minutes left in the half

Wonder if Colangelo is still getting all those calls from GMs enquiring about Bargnani?
