  • Top 5 Sports Movies

    Wildcats
    He Got Game
    Major League
    Blue Chips
    Slap Shot

Not saying these are the 5 best, just my personal favourites...

Hoosiers - pretty much got me into basketball as a kid
A Mother's Courage: The Mary Thomas Story - for an 80s TV movie, it was quite touching.. and made Zeke a favourite for me.. until he started molesting ugly knicks employees
    Dodgeball - what? it's a sport......
Football Factory - more about footie firms than the actual sport though
The Damned United - though embellished a fair bit, still a great look at the history of Leeds United and the iconic Bryan Clough

Jerry Maguire has to be up there,

as some of the comedy type, i enjoyed the replacements with gene hackman and keanu reeves, and the longest yard with Adam Sandler, oh yeah and semi pro was fucking hilarious when it came out.

any given sunday is also there, some might say eight men out.

the ones that kevin costner did were good.

Any Given Sunday is a behind the scenes look at the life and death struggles of modern day gladiators and those who lead them.
