Well, since coming into the League at 240lbs, Dwight Howard has put on 25lbs (Now playing at 265lbs) and he's actually slightly shorter than Val.
At 6'11, 240lbs, I think Val would be fine playing at 260. I think Vals frame could handle the added weight, while maintaining most of his quickness.
You can see that his shoulders alone can hold another 10lbs.
