Just noticed I need 14 more posts to get to 4k posts. Man time flies. Might do that in the Warriors thread before the weekend is over.

Another good night for JV against Drummond. Played ten minutes less and scored 8 points less and 1 rebound less. I don't know if JV could have matched the scoring, but he was a monster on the glass. Made some nice passes as well. Don't know what his 3pt shooting % is, but it's high enough that he can keep taking them.

Drummond had a good night, but he did get a lot of points against Jakob, who just couldn't match up physically.

    Drummond vs JV last night: 16+12, 80% FG%, -3 (27 MP)
    Drummond when JV sat last night: 9+5, 80% FG%, -3 (10 MP) -> prorates to 24+13 in 27 MP

Pretty similar regardless, actually. Drummond had a good game, Detroit did a good job getting JV et al to provide help and they didn't get any help themselves on the glass after.

But that's like as good as the Pistons can do. And the Raps still won with Drummond going off and Lowry/DD collapsing under the traps.

Would Dwight be a good fit? He's playing really well this year.

Dwight hasn't been a good fit anywhere since he left Orlando. Diva who is basically toxic at this point in his career.

Dwight could fit in this system, but there seems to be some pattern with him. Not sure if he's cancerous or not, but teams he's on don't really play too well.

He's got a better contract than JV's (makes $6M more per year, but only has one year left after this one). Charlotte may actually throw in a pick to make that deal. Just not sure Masai would touch it.

He's also not actually playing better than JV. Their numbers are comparable, and we know JV is a good teammate.

We would also somehow get worse at 3 point shooting in a JV trade...we'd have a "hack a center", doesn't give full effort..and yeah his teammates hate him. Hawks players had a celebration when he left

Oh and yeah JV is actually just a better player. Much younger...just no. This sounds like a great idea like 8 years ago

    Post Ups

    JV - 20% of his plays - 1.11 Points per Postup - 13 % Turnover rate

Dwight - 39% of his plays - 0.76 Points per Postup - 21% Turnover rate

So JV is very good and posts up 2.2 times per game.

Howard is awful and posts up 6.7 times per game.

If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.

He's seems to be much skinnier (by Dwight standards) now. Not sure if it's a conscious move to get smaller/lighter, or just not working as hard as he used to in the weight room.

Dwight Howard is a useless bum.
