  • Nash, Another Indy trade and all sorts of crazyness. Way too optimistic right now

    S&T Nash for Calderon
Trade Ed Davis for Darren Collison
Package our 1st round pick, and 2 2nd round picks for Sac-Towns
    Draft Lamb or Beal
Amnesty Kleiza / renounce rights to Bayless and sign Batum at 11 or 12 million
    Re-sign Aaron Gray

    Nash/Collison/Uzoh
    DD/Beal or Lamb/whomever
    Batum/JJ/Anderson
    Bargs/AJ
    JV/Gray/3rd stringer

A little optimistic, but I think the over is on the Ed for Collison trade. No reason for Indy to do that one IMO. If we can steal Batum a lot of things can fall into place, and drafting Beal if we are lucky, Lamb or TRoss if not is fine no reason to deal with Sac. The 2nd rounders would likely be needed in your S&Ts.

No reason to amnesty Kleiza either as he can 3rd both the Forward positions.
As for back up PG Dragic credits Nash for his success, and is an option.
Not so far fetched just hinging on Batum.

Most draft boards have Beal going top 5 in the draft, and Lamb being drafted just before us. This is why we should trade, and we do not lose much either. Dragic would be extremely costly, as well at Batum. Kleiza at $4M a year is an extremely expensive 3rd back up don't you agree? With JJ we cover our third PF as well. I think they need to get rid of their PG problem, as its hard for either to keep their rhythm with limited playing time.
