Default Game #41: Toronto Raptors 119 - Brooklyn Nets 109

Your Toronto Raptors hit the halfway mark at the Barclays Centre, taking on a Nets team they beat just a few days ago, and who lost to the Rockets their last time out, extending their long losing streak.

    PROJECTED STARTERS

Can the Raps keep rolling against the lower seeded teams? How close are we to getting Sullinger? Will Valanciunas keep beasting on the glass? Find out all this and more, next time on Toronto Raptors basketball!

    LET'S GO RAPS!!!

We can get an uptick in posts in thread regarding getting #1 seed should Raptors win tonight. Potentially only 1.5 games behind CAVS.

It's hard to get excited by a game against the Nets, with the Raptors having demonstrated that they are now taking care of lower seeded teams. On the other hand, what franchise best mark will someone on the team exceed tonight? Aside from Demarr who will be exceeding a franchise best mark for scoring every game now for the rest of his career. That is pretty remarkable and completely unpredictable the year he got drafted.

Chance for Casey to play with his lineups a little maybe.

This game should be over by half time.

But it likely won't be. The Nets don't have the skill/talent that the Raps do but unlike their cross town rivals they haven't quit on themselves. Rooks like Le Vert and Hollis-Jefferson play hard cuz they are in NBA and it's living the dream. Others are playing for jobs in Brooklyn or elsewhere next year as the Nets get a pick this year and have some second rounders to bring in some more talent. You gotta start adding anywhere you can.

Raps will win this one but the Nets won't go down super early and will make a bunch of threes to give cause for asking about the Dino's perimeter defence tomorrow.

Should be over in the first quarter. Last game against the Nets, it took only a few minutes in the second half to pull away.

We will not go quietly in the night. We will rage against the dying light. We will study every buzzer beater with intensified might, because somethin with the NBA doesn't smell right.

But probably. No point bringing him back against this team. We don't need him to beat Brooklyn

Rockets, one of the best 1st half teams in the NBA was up by 8 at the half @ Brooklyn few days ago.

Nets are one of the worst teams in the NBA, but we shouldn't take them lightly. They can score in bunches.

I hear they even went toe to toe (even taking the lead late) for a full three quarters with another pretty good team last week. . Don't sleep on anybody.
