  • UPDATED: Hedo's Mask Is In & He's Playing Tonight

Yeah .... you show'em how tough you are Hedo.

With Chris Bosh’s regular season over after he had surgery to fix his broken nose, Hedo Turkolgu now has a “small new non-displaced fracture on an old nasal fracture,” the team said in a release.

Turkoglu did travel with the Raptors to Atlanta, where they face the Hawks on Friday night in another game crucial to their playoff hopes.

A team spokesman said in an email that the Turkoglu’s status for the game will not be determined until Friday – he is listed as day-to-day—but that he wants to play and is willing to wear a mask to protect the broken nose. Turkoglu had resisted wearing a mask earlier this season.

That's a step in the right direction after being a total wimp about wearing the mask in the past. Glad to hear it.

      "willing to wear a mask"??

It should be mandated that he wear a mask and get out there to help this team make the post-season.

getting surgery to repair a broken nose is bitch. just put a mask on and come play bosh, pop the nose back in place and he's good to go.

Good for Hedo but he should really try to lose the xtra weight as well. Is Joe J still out...maybe the guys have a chance...could they really?? The ifs are overwhelming for me these days.

            agreed.
He should forced to wear the mask, it shouldnt be up to him.
But at least he wants to play

Turk is apparently good to go tonight.

Turk's mask from Orlando has arrived. He should be good-to-go for tonight.

Think of the backlash if he decided not to play. He'd be put in an iron mask for the rest of his days in Toronto. Good for you Hedo, thanks for manning up and doing your duty!(As if it ever should have been questioned)
