hoopshype doesnt add the salaries of the 2 1st round picks.
yes they could be traded, yes barbosa could opt out, but as of right now. if ur BC, you're looking at roughly 50 milion in player salaries for 2011-2012.

you take the average lottery pick's salary, and the average 16-30th pick's salary and it "roughly" adds up to $5 million.
you can disagree with this all you want, but i think you have to admit, that it is much more effective to make projections about next year's salary with as much information as we have.

You can disagree all you want but when GM's, sports writers, bloggers, NBA-dedicated websites, and most fans discuss payroll and future salary cap projections, the things you are speaking of are not included. If you want to discuss those or include them, go ahead, but your original post made no mention of these things and, as mentioned at the start, future payroll numbers by most fans, writers and GM's do not take in to account future draft picks or possible deals for free agents. Also you initially stated that you checked 2 websites that said $50M - please provide the links.
