Hansborough's face looks like hes witnessing a murder, that or the 9/11 tragedy.
And Casey looks like he was at one of those weekly televised church services that they show during late night. "I've be healed ole' lord."

The 'reach for the sky' defense is even worse than the 'matador' defense... so much for a defensive specialist!

              I'm not sure.

Maybe ask dd cause he went an entire game.
Didn't we just have a thread discussing DD's rebounding prowess, and some people felt we were being too hard....hmmmm...who were they?

The people who have zipped up their pants and gone home.

Don't worry though. Next good game by him or Raptors they'll all be back.

It's so frustrating though. In the first half, I was extremely impressed, thinking he was finally going to prove me wrong. Then, by the end of the game:

28 points (10/18), but too ISO-centric down the stretch
                    0 rebounds
                    3 assists
                    3 turnovers
terrible defense that negates most of his scoring

Oh we're still here I guess the point we were making was that 4 rebounds per game (actually 3.8 so far this year) from a shooting guard is not that bad. Would one more make you feel better?

4.8 would put him in the top 10 for guards (includes PG and SG) and would be better yes. He's currently the 29th ranked guard. With his athleticism, it shouldn't be a stretch for him to out-rebound Ricky Rubio (4.5).

I understand your frustration. However, you should remember that Demar is paid to be a scorer. He is a shooting guard. Now some should actually start talking about others who are supposed to be rebounders......*we got one rebound in the whole 4th Quarter vs GSW*.

I can't wait for you guys to start pointing the finger at JV. You want to ship everyone else out so you can put that BIG bullseye on his back (just like you're doing with Demar).

Demar didnt cost us this game. Actually, if you watch closely you'll see that he's usually the player keeping us in these games!

The offence and defence broke and collapsed when it mattered. JV is useless at getting consistent deep positioning and is not good at setting screens (pretty basic stuff for a big guy).

FYI - Drummond had 18 rebounds and 10 points in 22 minutes in their win against Miami. JV gets 6 rebounds, 0 assists and 8 points in 26 minutes against GSW.

Hansborough can't create a shot for himself. Rudy Gay had 0 assists. Kyle had a good game, but couldn't keep track of Curry when it mattered most. Demar left Thompson open too many times and paid the price.

The blame can go around.....and from where i stand - I see a lot more blame for other players who are supposed to be better than they're playing.

1 more rebound per game brings him into the top 10. If you really think about it, that's not a huge stretch for him to work on in the future.....just saying.

Look - you guys are the only ones saying Demar is a finished product (he is who he is, he won't get better, blah blah blah). Most fans realize he still has areas to improve on. If it makes you feel better to call him out on his weaknesses while ignoring his strengths....then have at it.
