It does not take a crystal ball. It takes knowledge of the game, insight and little research. It is just like the stock market. The uneducated relies on Crystal balls and the educated, uses the tools that are available.

This is why you see a guy like UM not falling for the fool's gold. He knows what the ceiling of this group of guys is and he is not going to sit around ( like the last guy did for 7 years) and hope for something to happen.

Even without your crystal ball, guy like UM knows and this is why he is not going to get cut in no man's land with this group of guys and waste more years.

This is a different team. A better team.
I just imagined Rod Black saying that during one of the pre-game trailers followed by:

    "Raptors. Bobcats. Next."

We've only made second round once in franchise history.
The rest of the East is doing their part to help us get there.

This is all part of the plan.
We are going to win games for probably another week and Lowry and Amir are going to put up attractive numbers.
Lowry's value is at an all time high, and a statement game will definatly make his stock go up.

With Gay gone, Amir is now looked as the perfect P&R player who can get boards, has a decent mid-range shot and can block shots. He's mobile, he's athletic and his description is kind of reminding me of STAT before Nash.

I don't want to trade Amir, but Lowry and Amir won't be relevant during the 2 or more year rebuilding process. Expect them to be shipped out soon for younger players.

I can easily see Hansbrough and Novak and maybe Patterson/Salmons traded in February

If we tank going forward, and our picks pan out, we can easily be contenders with 1. Wiggins/Parker/Exum 2. Derozan 3. JV in a few years time.

If we beat bobcats, we'll be 6th. It's getting harder and harder to tank.
Bobcats will also be on the second night of a back to back.

In other great news Pistons lost tonight at the buzzer. Hopefully this send them down another losing streak

Sarcasm aside, I agree with the title of this thread.
