Thanks for these stats completely out of context?
It helps, but without seeing numbers post Rudy Gay, what can anyone properly extrapolate from these numbers?

Wow... DeRozan 2nd in PPG on drives.

Seriously we need to get a #1 in here.

DeRozan would be a killer if he could just focus on coming off screens for those spot up mid range jumpers, corner threes, the post and driving. Less iso would be great for him.

The better news is that these numbers include pre-trade stats, and don't reflect:

    - what changes have occurred since
    - much less iso ball, and when he does, drives and dishes almost as often as he shoots
    - his recent assist numbers turning "he doesn't see the court, can't/doesn't pass" into bunk
    - his overall impact on the team and other players' productivity, in a team focused style of play

Real NBA coaches are noticing, thus top coaches on top defensive teams focused on him, and thus all the talk of him being seriously in All-Star conversation.

Yet again, the kid is stepping up his game. In the two recent Indiana games, with "superstar" PG defending him, while PG gets defended by soph TRoss, their combines stats are:

    George: 23 pts, on 9/26 (.346) FGs, 5/6 FTs, 10 RBs, 5 ASTs, 2 STLs, 1 BLK
    DeMar.: 54 pts, on 18/45 (.400) FGs, 18/20 FTs, 11 RBs, 9 ASTs, 4 STLs

These shooting stats are a great tool for coaches planning the offense, but don't come near reflecting all that a player means to his team's success or failure.

So wait... DeRozan is better playing off-ball. Which means he could actually be a good 2nd option?

Wtf thought he was an iso-only player? (sarcasm)
    Better, yes. Good? No.

Great job being a second option DeMar, shooting barely 50% (eFG) on catch and shoot situations.

By the way, it's DeMar who thinks he's an iso player. Clearly. And he clearly isn't, judging by those shooting percentages.

Best part is he is actually good at driving the ball, but takes more pull-up shots (where he is TERRIBLE) than he drives each game.

Good work bro! Not let me simplify.

Derozan shoots too many jumpers, and only makes the clean looks when his feet are set.

    Wow! Revealing....
