He never played at an all star level with Houston what are you talking about
Lowry was in the all-star conversation his last year in Houston. Didn't make it because there's too many great PG's in the west.

Ummmm, there was tons of talk about him playing at an all-star level in 2011-2012 season, until that infection sidelined him for most of the rest of the season. In 32 games prior to the All Star break, he was averaging 15.6 PTs, 7.6 ASTs, 5.3 RBs, 37.5% from 3, on 5 attempts per game. Yes, there was talk all over the place that he was playing at an all-star level, whether you agree with that or not. Can't be bothered to bring up more, but here are a couple of links covering some chatter at the time:

Even the coach he couldn' get along with said he was snubbed:

When he got traded to the Raps, people still talked about his all-star level of play:

    Enough?
Thank you for doing this because I was just about to. Those number are not far off from what he's doing now so if people think he should be an All Star this year he should have that year as well. That Houston team was 5th or 6th in the western conference when he was playing and I believe didn't even make the playoffs at the end. He was a big part of their success. I don't know how people didn't hear or know about the chatter of him being an All Star that year. Smh.

Somehow, even when they went down 10 in the 3rd, and had been playing poorly,,,, somehow I was still at peace believing they were going to turn it up and take the game. Observations:

    - DeMar said enough is enough, put the team on his shoulders. and took care of righting the ship. As always, the kid just keeps getting better

    - During the Nets' run in the 3rd, I kept expecting Casey to call a timeout, but didn't until it got to looking real bad. I think there was a method to what appeared to be madness. Sure the turnaround looked bad, but I think he may have calculated on a rope-a-dope strategy. He didn't want to call a timeout and give THEM old legs a rest. It seemed to work, as that run, without any breaks given to them, gassed them.

    - How great does 2Pat look as an addition to this team? The Raps have the right to a qualifying offer on him for next year, but I hope they can tie him up for a reasonable contract.

    - Lowry continues to demonstrate that he is loving being a part of this team. As far as the "contract year" performance that some speak of fearing, don't forget that he was playing at a very high level, with all-star talk then as well, with Houston before that infection that de-railed him. That wasn't a contract year.

Then why do you call him General Greivis? You should be informed that is a Star Wars prequel trilogy reference, and therefore terrible.
Those movies are terrible and slow paced. Seems like a good fit.

^that would be a great marketing scheme. Center it around players, be an added incentive for players to play here because they get their own night

Not many people actually said that Demar has to be traded now... I haven't said that he has to be traded, but like other fans I was concerned about his improvement.

I agree, Demar looks like an all-star at this moment, and I'm very happy for him and Toronto. His improvement is way different than it was last season. He took another step, that's why people who said 'he should be traded' are happy. He's also showing that he has leader veins. I love it.

Demar's defence is not better tho. He's just gambling more and playing with much higher passion, because team is winning.

Small tip for you - Nearly every your post is showing your ignorance. This is discussion forum, we discuss about Raptors and the last thing we expect to hear insulting words because someone had different thoughts about Demar than you. Just stop insulting other people, it's sinful.

So much attention to the Raps last night!!!

Drake night was success. #future #freeagency
yeah thats some succesfull marketing down there. Though I would refuse "Drake" night for the future, as it sounds too Drake focused, not the Raptors. I would actually love to have something like "Demar night" or "Lowry night" with Drake entertaining.

Fools wanted trade him because all he can do is score...lmao

Anyone else noticing that Demar can actually play some defence as well?

Trade him they said....his value won't get higher they said....some basketball "know it alls" don't seem to know much at all.

Demar looks like an all-star to me.

I wish i could have heard what the refs where thinking after they called a foul on lowry as time expired and they had to review Pierce elbowing Lowry in the face over and over and over.

"How am i going to explain to the league that getting knocked the fuck out is a foul ?"
"I need to make my bookie disappear ASAP"
"Screw stern, he's gone in February, Screw NY revenue i ain't getting a piece of it anyways, i better call this game fairly now"

Its funny how raps started getting calls after that play.
Hopefully DC will send that to the league office.
