  • Anybody, else a little worried that Colangelo will offer Kyle a ridiculous contract to go play in Philly next year? I don't see kyle leaving, but you never know.

Why worry? We can offer an even more ridiculous contract. This isn't the "how soon can I get out of here?" Raptors of the old days.

And there's no DD in Philly.
If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.

      • So excluding Lowry's slow start (first 9 games) and today's game
        Lowry is averaging

24/7/5/1.6 on 51% shooting and 49% from deep while taking 7.6 attempts from deep

            Great article.

Just noticed that the "Everything" Lowry thread has 85 pages, tie "Sullinger" thread has 61 pages, after less than half a season, and the "Carroll" thread has 90 pages for a season and a half. . For a guy who was supposed to be a problem child when he arrived in Toronto, not much controversy it seems.

Very true but have you considered Kyle wanting to hear from MU how management is going to position them for a championship run? If MU says stay the course will that be enough for KL who knows Father time is soon going to win the battle sooner than later? Will that pending concern push MU to pull the trigger on a 3rd star trade/FA?
Just something I've been wondering about when reading a Kyle quote that he'd sign if they came at him "in the right way" else he'd shop around. The timing of "in the right way" was stroke of midnight like with DD.

I really don't see Masai dicking Kyle around this summer. Kyle is so valuable to this team and franchise, and Masai isn't dumb. And $$$ shouldn't be an issue either. The age thing might be a bit of a concern, but I don't think it'll keep Masai up at night.

                • If we aren't able to make serious upgrades to the team at the deadline or in the offseason I'd maybe look at just letting Kyle go, trading DeMar and starting over.

                        Lol...

Rather watch a team capable of making a deep Playoff run and a slim chance at winning a championship than a team rebuilding and at the bottom of the standings.

Yeah especially after enduring the latter for so goddamn long with this franchise. No thanks.

I'm sure you would look at that.

                            I'm sure Masai won't.

Yep they don't understand he's our guy, just like lebron, durant, kawhi, cp3. The by far best player on a fairly elite team
