In 2016 Kyrie Irving hit one of the biggest shots in Finals history. He also averaged 27ppg 47FG% 40 3P% in that series against the Warriors.

But keep talking about all NBA and top 10 MVP voting lol.

And oh, you remember Lowry's performance in the playoffs that year vs Indy, Miami and Cleveland? that was the same year were people were talking about possibly starting Joseph because of how bad Lowry was.

    • Speaking of narrative, everytime Lowry plays like shit in the playoffs or the reg season, you can always count on AI to use the "injury" excuse.

Funny how everytime the playoff arrives there's always an injury narrative.

Lowry is playing like shit this year so he must be injured again. Smfh.

Just cause it doesn't fit your narrative doesn't mean it's not true.

Except he was injured then and even is now. Go look it up.

            • Lowry had to rely on likes of Patterson, T-Ross and Carroll. And drag their raggedy ass in playoffs

Anything Kyrie did as Lebron's Robin doesn't really matter. He's finally leader of a team and he came back crying to Lebron. This Boston's roster 1 to 10 overall has more talent than Lowry ever did.
Meh, Celtics so-called "talent" is way overrated. Next best player after Kyrie is Tatum and he isn't looking like the next coming of Kobe anymore, except for the bad shot selection. And I never understood why the Celtics never went hard after PG or Butler, but were happy to dump useful trade pieces to overpay an inferior version of PG, in Hayward.

No love for Derozan? Don't forget, the Atlantic Division was a joke back then. Worst division in the history of pro sports at one point.

We had Scola as starting power forward

Anyway, is Ben Simmons your new Kyrie Irving? i remember you saying just a month ago, Lowry > Simmons. Still feel that way? LMFAO
For a raptor fan, you take some odd pleasure in lowry's struggles/decline. Chasing me around with comparisons from the rival teams, "laughing your fucking ass off" the whole way.

Fuck it I'm still taking Lowry over Simmons. He turns the ball over under pressure and shoots worse than shaq.

That year, we still had 2 all-stars who could score 20+ PPG. But look at the competition, though. That was an especially pathetic year in the Leastern conference. At least 3 teams (Bucks, Magic, Sixers) were in deep tank mode, other teams just sucked really bad from annual mis-management (Knicks, Nets) and whole bunch of teams on the treadmill going nowhere or downwards (Pacers, Wiz, Pistons, Bulls, Hawks, Heat) and one team just starting to show some promise, with a faux-star on the roster (IT, Celtics).

You're pretty consistent I give you that. Being somewhat positive when it's happy times in Raptors land as the team is winning, but... When the Raps are underperforming, GOD... you're borderline unbearable. DeRozan used to make you happy no matter how much it sucked, but now it looks like there's no joy for you left following the Raptors. Rhetorical question then, why do you follow this team then?

How is it hilarious? When Kyle was 29 and 30 he was better. Now hes 32 and hes no longer better. Kyrie 26 years old. Hes better than Chris Paul now too. Is chris Paul trash?
