When Demar doesn’t score he’s a legit anchor on both ends. Kyles shot isn’t falling but he still makes great passes, runs the offence, plays smart positional D, gets steals/charges etc. Two different worlds of impact regardless of raw scoring numbers.

That being said we need Kyle to regain his confidence. He should be confident, at his best he’s a top point guard in the league. At his worst, he’s still way better than Demar.
Lowry doesn't play great D at the point of attack. He gets picked off screens with very little resistance, letting his man get by him and starts our defense scrambling from the jump. That started way back when we got Biyombo and has continued until now.

Holy shit the guy was a mention in MVP conversations 2 weeks ago and he's getting crucified right now. As a member of the fan base, this is embarrassing.
Meh, not really. It's like clock work, same sun comes up every day, same media guys do their thing, same posters do theirs. If you weren't expecting the same people who have been complaining about Casey and DeRozan for their entire time here, to find someone new to complain about then wake up S.R. Raptors Republic isn't all sunshine and roses. This site was built on this shit

The trade proposals are right up there with DeRozan for Gerald Henderson.

BTW I've never seen an all-star player have a slump as bad as this. Its asinine to me that a pro athlete can be this unconfident with his shot.
Does he actually have the 'yips', or is there an undisclosed injury?

Really hoping it's the latter, the staff recognizes it early, and he sits for a week or two.

Lowrys shooting is not yips, I've seen this word mentioned a couple times and it's being used incorrectly. Have you guys seen his misses? They're in and out, or straight and short off the rim, or a little heavy off the back rim, they are close shots. The guy didn't forget how to use his arm correctly lol

Winning takes care of everything. Not sure why Nurse hasn't rested Lowry if he really is dealing with an injury. If it's a mental thing then yeah I understand why he's being allowed to play through. It's a good opportunity for other guys to get a chance to step up.

Dude, he hit the bottom corner of the backboard from straight ahead....and there wasn't a defender within 3 feet of him.

The 1 shot he did hit 2 games ago, Siakam had to come over and console him after the make. Almost like a non-verbal, "there you go, big guy! See I knew you could do it".

If he's not injured, he's definitely struggling with his confidence to a degree.

Yes but confidence issues are not the yips. Every single person on earth suffers confidence issues, when you play sports it affects you, even more so when millions follow your stats

                  • Could Lowry be the reason why Kahwi won't stay after this season?

                      Confidence/nerves, splitting hairs, no?

Bottom line is, he's starting to look afraid to shoot.

                        It's December...lets not panic people

Kyle is having a tough stretch. In the first dozen games people made Steve Nash comparisons. Others laughed and went HAHA RIDICULOUS HE'S NO NASH...and he's not. Obviously. But he WAS for a dozen games, and for the next dozen his scoring has been abysmal. That's why he's Kyle Lowry not Steve Nash, because after 82 games the numbers will even out.

No panicking here. Just making an observation because I'm bored at work.
