  • I think 12M a year is ok, ideally it would have a decreasing cap hit like Iguodala's deal.

He was putting up some serious stats as a starter for the Pelicans last season when Holiday got injured. 20/6/5 on 50% is good.

            • Raptors should sign Dirk Nowitzki for a year, that would be cool

That what the Lakers thought with Nash.

Nash thrives on fast play though and running around a lot. You could just let Dirk walk up into the post and hit jumpshots all game long.

Lakers aren't going after Melo. Not a good sign.

                        • Lowry to the heat!!!!!!!!

There is a rumour that Miami and kyle lowry have a mutual interest in freeagency.

                          http://www.raptorsrepublic.com/2014/...le-lowry-heat/

Brian windhorst is reporting this, there is a link in the raptors republic link that gos to him saying this.

                          • "Mutual interest?" i have a hard time believing that. Heat obviously need a starting PG and Lowry is the best PG avaialable in the FA market. You don't have to be a genius to figure that one out. US Media/ESPN is just trying to stir shit up. Disrespecting the Raptors as usual.

Based on DeRozan's reaction when someone asked him about Lowry's future after the playoffs ended a month ago. He knows something. I'm willing to bet Lowry's back w/ the Raptors next season.

                            • Lowry on the heat makes no sense. The team is older than the Spurs. Everyone is either going to opt out or stay for another year just for the heck of it. No need for Lowry to go there.

never rely on this shit in pro sports.. If Lowry believes that Miami is better for him and his family, then I'm damn sure he'll move there.
